2022-2023

The stage is set, the lights are on, and doors are open. We’re back and better than ever! This year promises to have something for everyone. So mark your calendars and keep checking back for more details.

Our productions are divided by categories:

  • Kids First ~Adventures in theatre, puppetry, and circus for family audiences!
  • MAT Premieres ~ The best in new plays, cabaret, and classics with a twist!
  • Rip Improv ~ Short-form, long-form, and musical improvisational comedy!
  • Special Events ~ Everything from student showcases to comedy to cabaret and everything in between!

 


DECEMBER

12/10-18    Kids First: The Most Magical Gift    A trapeze-swinging Cat and curtain climbing Mice team up to give a most magical gift to their favorite Grandmother. Join Birgitta De Pree and a cast of young circus performers in this very funny, very original holiday adventure that is perfect for the whole family.

12/10    Special Event: The Modbo HO-HO at the Millibo    Join Lauren and her cast of comic singers as they keep the Modbo Holiday spirit alive with comedy and bawdy songs. Definitely a performance for adults only (R-rated).

12/15-18    MAT Premieres: Yule Be Naughty, Yes!    Miriam Roth and Elizabeth Fluharty head up this all-star cast as they celebrate all the Holidays with Cabaret, Circus, and Comedy.

12/31    Kids First: The Big Bubble Circus    Another Millibo tradition returns for New Year’s Eve as we present Jim Jackson’s Big Bubble Circus, featuring special guest Circus Stars, a heaping dose of Clown Magic, and of course, Giant Bubbles!


JANUARY

1/7    RiP Improv    New year, new comedy, nothing is off limits to these resident laugh-makers presenting short-form, longform, and musical improvisational, on-the-spot comedy!

1/19-22    MAT Premieres: An Evening with Bill Bowers    Internationally acclaimed mime and storyteller Bill Bowers returns with his latest collection of poignantly funny, true experiences from the life of a traveling performer.


FEBRUARY 

2/4    RiP Improv    We love to laugh with our resident improv crew, RiP, who present short-form, longform, and musical improvisational, on-the-spot comedy!

2/4-5    Kids First: Puppets on the Loose    A most amazing festival of puppetry just for kids … and their grown-ups!

2/9-26    MAT Premieres: Picasso at the Lapin Agile by author Steve Martin    This long running, Off Broadway, absurdist comedy places Albert Einstein and Pablo Picasso in a Parisian cafe in 1904. “…mixing the sublime with the ridiculous so that they can’t be easily disentangled.” – The New York Times. Directed by Jim Jackson


MARCH

3/4    RiP Improv    March on in to see Millibo’s resident laugh-makers present short-form, longform, and musical improvisational, on-the-spot comedy!

3/4-5    Kids First: Making Lemonade from Lemons    Live music and beloved folk tales are woven into a very kid-friendly celebration of language.

3/9-19    MAT Premieres: “WTF” Women’s Theatre Festival    Original short plays, music, dance, poetry, and comedy come together in this Festival celebrating the special Creative Spirit of Women.


APRIL

4/1    RiP Improv   Celebrate April Fool’s Day with our favorite comic actors in short-form, long-form, and musical improvisational comedy!

4/13-23    MAT Premieres: Gods, Guns & Pancakes with Jim Jackson    Spend a hilarious evening with a real clown and the very revealing stories of what it is really like to “run away with the circus”.


MAY

5/5-14    Kids First: Incredible Circus Millibo    Performers of all ages transform the Millibo into a high energy circus with aerial acts, jugglers, magicians, clowns, stilt dancers, and acrobats. The perfect first circus for all ages.

5/6    RiP Improv    It’s utter “may”hem when the RiP crew is here! Millibo’s resident laugh-makers present short-form, longform, and musical improvisational, on-the-spot comedy!
