Learn, practise and perform the CIRCUS ARTS!

ON LINE REGISTRATION

Join us every Tuesday for circus training where you’ll receive coaching from professional circus performers in a multitude of  disciplines including acrobatics, aerial silks, trapeze, stilt walking, juggling, unicycling, balancing tricks and clown routines.  The circus arts are an exciting hybrid of art and sport and all experience levels are welcome.  Our experienced coaches take students through all steps of the process, teaching correct techniques for each apparatus while creating a fun and supportive environment for learning and growing. Millibo is here for you and your kids!

Creative play is critical for the physical, emotional, and mental health of children.  For almost twenty years the Millibo has offered programming that inspires youth to grow as artists and innovators.  Our experiences running camps this summer confirm our belief in the importance of creative engagements for kids, and our ability to provide safe environments where this can happen.  The Millibo is poised to support your child’s learning through re-imagined theatre classes, camps and workshops that offer safe and exciting environments where kids can explore and grow through the performing arts.

Small class sizes, multiple outdoor learning experiences, the most talented faculty of teaching artists in the region and over twenty years of experience working with young creatives ensures a high-quality arts experiences for ages 4 to 18.

SAFETY MEASURES IN PLACE:

  • Daily screening and temperature check of all students, staff and teachers
  • Required hand-sanitization upon arrival, before eating, and at regular intervals
  • Mandatory masks or face coverings
  • Maintain physical distancing of at least 3 feet
  • Class size limited to 16 students with classes often working in smaller groups of 6 to 8
  • Limited building access – only students, teachers and staff will have building access.
  • Ensure sufficient cleaning and disinfecting of commonly touched surfaces and equipment

The safety and health of your child(ren) remains our priority, and as Coronavirus guidance continues to evolve, we will follow all guidelines and updates provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Colorado Department for Public Health and Environment for Child Care.

PHILOSOPHY: The goal of The Millibo Art Theatre’s Education Program is to provide high quality theatre arts instruction in a safe, encouraging environment. The MAT is dedicated to the belief that theatre training promotes self-esteem, builds confidence, stimulates creativity, sharpens communication skills, fosters an appreciation of teamwork, raises cultural awareness, celebrates diversity, encourages respect for self and others, and lays the foundation for a lifelong love of the arts. The study of theatre not only trains students to be better performers, it inspires them to be better people.

Office Hours: Tuesday to Friday / Noon to 4pm.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS:  Requests for refunds must be made two weeks before the start of a workshop. If these processes are followed, the tuition will be refunded less a $20 administration fee. There are NO REFUNDS or TRANSFERS issued after this two week period. Your full payment will be refunded if a camp or class is cancelled.

SOCIAL AWARENESS: Legends, myths, poems, stories, and plays build a student’s awareness of social issues from all over the world.
