AUDITIONS A DOLL’S HOUSE
On September 4 and 6, we will have open auditions for roles in Henrik Ibsen’s play “A Doll’s House” which will be on the Millibo stage in November 2025. Please look at the roles and descriptions.
AUDITION DETAILS:

Thursday, September 4, 2025 6:00pm to 6:30pm / 6:45pm to 7:15pm / 7:30pm to 8:00pm
Saturday, September 6, 2025 1:00pm to 1:30pm / 1:45pm to 2:15pm / 2:30pm to 3:00pm - You can expect to present a 1-2 minute contemporary monologue. If you do not have one, we will provide cold reads from the script.

ROLE DETAILS:
Behind Nora and Torvald’s perfect marriage lies a hidden debt Nora took on to save his life. When blackmail threatens exposure, the clock starts and their home becomes a pressure cooker as love turns to leverage and reputation into a weapon. Forced to choose between safety or selfhood, Nora makes a decision that changed theatre history. In a brand new 90-minute adaptation that moves like a domestic thriller.
Torvald Helmer (30’s-40’s, male-indentifying) — Nora’s husband. A newly promoted bank manager. Charming, fastidious, patronizing, image-obsessed and indulgent with Nora.
Dr. Rank (40’s, male-indentifying) — Longtime family friend and house-guest. Nora’s confidant. Wry, terminally ill and quietly in love with Nora.
Kristine Linde (late 20’s-30’s, female-indentifying) — Nora’s old friend. Practical, plainspoken, returning after hardship. Seeks work at the bank and has a past with Krogstad.
Nils Krogstad (30’s-40’s, male-indentifying) — Bank clerk fighting to keep his post. Holds Nora’s secret debt. Uses ruthless leverage. Has history with Mrs. Linde.
The role of Nora Helmer has already been cast.

SHOW DETAILS:
- Rehearsals start on Monday, October 13, 2025
- Actors must be available for all technical rehearsals and show dates.
- SHOW DATES: November 13 – 23 / Thursday to Saturday shows @ 7:30 / Sunday shows @ 2pm.
- REQUIRED ENSEMBLE Rehearsal: Sunday, November 9 from 5 to 9 pm
- REQUIRED TECH Rehearsals: November 10, 11, 12 from 4:30 to 9:30pm
- All actors will receive a small participation stipend
