The Cast:

KATARINA CHASKELIS (Trapeze Aerialist) has been competing and performing aerials for 7 years. An innovative and unique performer on trapeze, silks, hoop, straps and contortion who brings energy and excitement to the aerial realm. Katarina enchants audiences through powerful characters that have both grace and edge. She has competed at professional levels and performed internationally on MSC cruise lines.

KYLE CODY COX (Juggling) has been juggling for 12 years and has performed at the MAT for the majority of that time. He’s an alumnus of UCCS, where he majored in math and philosophy, and he recently completed an M.A. in philosophy at the Graduate Center, CUNY, in New York. He is now working in the AI space, training large language models to help future generations of students cheat on their math homework. Throughout all this academic and professional experience, juggling remains his top passion, and he tries his best to play with a prop every day. With juggling, the whole world’s a toy!

ELIZABETH FLUHARTY (Silks and Rope Aerialist, Acrobatics & Circus Club Coach) is a student, performer, choreographer, and teacher of circus arts including partner acrobatics, aerial arts, and stilts. Thanks to a decade and a half of saying “yes” to all kinds of adventures, the Circus has become her life and passion. You can often find her performing all over the state or teaching classes at Mountain Shadows Aerial Silks and the Millibo.

JIM JACKSON (Director) is an internationally acclaimed clown with over 50 years of laughs in the circus and theatre. From 1976 through 2001, he toured his solo clown and circus shows throughout the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. Together with Birgitta, Jim co-founded the Millibo Art Theatre in 2002 where he has produced and directed many theatre, circus, and cabaret performances. He credits his three daughters Julia, Caitlin, and Lisbet for his best jokes.

CHRISTOPHER KELLER (Circus Artist) is a regular at the Millibo and you may remember him as Troll Squish “The Snowflakey Princess” or as the old Ringmaster, Seymour Frumple, in “The Ringmaster’s Attic”. Lead coach with the Millibo Circus Club, he graduated from clown college in 2009, and has traveled the U.S. performing in the big top as a puppeteer and continues to work hard to bring circus to all corners of the community.

MIRIAM ROTH (Singer) has been Chanteuse for Millibo’s Circus of the Night ever since its founding in 2004. Favorite credits include Arcadia at Theatreworks; Ben and the Magic Paintbrush at Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center; The God of Carnage with StarBar Players; and One For the Road with Springs Ensemble Theatre. Miriam has recorded two albums and is an accomplished voice teacher.

BRITTANY WILLGUES (Silks & Rope Aerialist, Acrobatics, Clown) moved to Colorado with her family in the spring of 2017. She immediately found Springs Dance, a studio offering aerial silks, and has been practicing there ever since. Brittany teaches youth aerial silks and performs both aerial silks and partner acrobatics. Over the last 8 years, she has grown to love all things “Circus” and is excited to go on performing, teaching, and honing new skills along the way.

KAYLA WIMMERLE (Clown) is thrilled to return to The MAT stage! She graduated from UCCS with a BA in Theatre and Music Performance. She has performed in UCCSTC productions, as well as Theatreworks and the MAT! Millibo credits include The Christmas Mouse, Incredible Circus Millibo, Most Hidden Gems, and more. She’s so thankful to patrons like you for supporting the arts. Enjoy the show!

LINSEY VERUZA is a seasoned gymnast and diver of 19 years. She moved to Colorado spings in 2022 and is currently a film student at UCCS. Linsey can usually be found hiking with her dog when she isn’t at the gym training. She is excited to be back on the Millibo stage after last appearing in The Incredible Circus Millibo!
