CAST

MICHAEL AUGENSTEIN (Billy Diamatti) is thrilled to be appearing at The MAT once more. His last appearance was in Heroes (Phillipe).  Most recently Michael appeared in The Emperor of The Moon (Dr. Balliardo) at Theatreworks. Other roles  on the Theatreworks stage include Wild Honey (Marko), The Hairy Ape (Paddy), Antony and Cleopatra (Lepidus), Born Yesterday (Senator Hedges), The Weir (Jack), Joe Turner’s Come and Gone (Bynam), A Christmas Carol, with Bob Piney (Bob Cratchit)). Favorite roles at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center include The Man of La Mancha (Padre), Guys and Dolls (Arvide Abernathy), Hairspray (Wilbur). Michael is currently retired from everything but Theater!

SOL CHAVEZ (Earl Mumfoord) got the theater bug in 1958, and since then has performed in too many productions to name, and has designed and built many sets over the years. Sol is semi-retired from consulting engineering. He has begun making independent short films with his buddies, Mike Miller, Keri Pollakoff and wife, Eve Tilley.

MICHAEL KELLER (Co-Director) Michael has been involved in theatre off and on since he was a young child. This is his first time bossing actors around rather than being bossed around.

MICHAEL MILLER (Alfred “Kooch” Kuchinski) would like to thank the Department of Corrections Elder Early Release Program (EERP) for allowing him to participate in this production. Also, PLEASE turn off your phones. They interfere with his Electronic Monitoring Device. So, sit back, relax, and try not to throw any rotten fruit. Love to Keri, the reason he breathes, and Maus the Dog.

ANNE STEWARD (Judy Clabber) Anne is thrilled for this opportunity to work at The Millibo Art Theatre for the first time! One recent past credit includes playing EV in DUCK RABBIT, a local film by Grown Up Costume Party. She would like to thank all who work at The Mat, her director and assistant director, and  the entire cast and crew for the hard work they have done and the joy they have found along the way.

EVE TILLEY (Director) started with Civic Players in 1955 and has worked with Star Bar Players, TheatreWorks, Smokebrush, CC Summer Players, Little London, Fine Arts Center, Millibo, PPLD, Imagination Celebration, First Strike, E. T. C. Productions, Thespiana and Bucket List, as actress, director, producer, designer, props mistress, costumer, poster and program designer. She last directed Heroes  at MAT. When being a real person, Eve makes pop-up cards, entertains, and is love-slave to her Siamese cat.

PRODUCTION CREW:

LACEY BARKHURST (Lighting Designer) has been working professionally in theatre for nearly a decade and is thrilled to be the MAT’s Technical Manager/Lighting Designer. She holds a BFA in Design and Technology for the Stage from Texas State University and has worked in theatres coast to coast, from The Pacific Conservatory Theatre in California to Goodspeed Musicals in Connecticut and many others in between. She would like to thank her partner, Dylan, for their constant love and support of not only her, but also the arts.

BOB MORSCH (Sound Manager) has been making sounds for theatre companies all over Colorado Springs for the last decade. He has worked with Star Bar, Theatre D’Art, Springs Ensemble Theatre, Theatre Works, Rocky Mountain Rep, and the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. Finally, after all that bouncing around, he is ecstatic to have ultimately landed in his home at the Millibo. He encourages you to take care of yourself, take care of someone else, adopt a dog, and pay for the car behind you.

OWEN MILKS (Stage Manager) has been in theatre since he was a young boy. He fondly remembers his first few plays he acted for in elementary school. Since then he has always loved to work every aspect of theatre. After High school, he worked with community theaters as an actor, stage management, and designing many aspects of the stage. Owen has been honing skills to bring the best story telling he can. He is excited to be working for the MAT, and looks forward to the future.
