2019-20 Premiere Season Schedule

2019-20 Premiere Season

Nov.  7 – 24 MOTHER COURAGE and her CHILDREN

Brecht’s hugely theatrical masterpiece unearths the true cost of conflict – challenging our notions of war and peace and what it takes to survive just behind the enemy lines.  “Each time Courage takes the reins of her wagon, weary and wounded but marching onward, we must confront the unending destruction that travels with her.”

Dec. 12 – 22  YULE BE NAUGHTY TOO!

Grab the Mistletoe and roll down your stockings as we bring you a Holiday cabaret featuring the masterful piano of Jerry McCauley, the vocals of Miriam Roth and Zak Guzman and our merry band of comic and circus artists.  It is sure to put you in the best of Holiday Spirits.

Jan 16-18 DAVID & KATIE GET REMARRIED

A dark comedy about the worst couple in the world on the second happiest day of their lives after the first happiest day of their lives didn’t work out. Featuring the return of our favorite New York improv folks – David Carl (Trump Lear,  Gary Busey’s One Man Hamlet) and Katie Hartman

Jan. 23 – 25  OBJECTIVITY DANCE THEATRE

Drawing on decades of experience in dance, circus arts, and physical theatre, Jennifer Aiken and Peter Davison create a completely original performance that explores the world through diverse styles and astonishing interactions with objects, treating audiences to a rich layering of powerful movement, imagery, humanity, and virtuosic skills.

Feb. 6-22  STEALING SUGAR

Outrageous tales of dream and fantasy merge with the washing, drying, sorting and folding to create a deliciously funny sub-urban myth.  Birgitta De Pree stars in this one woman tour de force of insightful comedy and poignant reflections revealing the fables, foibles and symbolic meaning behinds one woman’s dirty laundry.

March 5-22 The NOTORIOUS NUGGET

“LOVE IS HARD, AND LOVE IS CRUEL AND LOVE IS A BITTER CUP. IF YOU FALL IN LOVE YOU’RE A FOOL…” and so the song goes on as our weary prospectors in Goldville, Colorado seek the earth’s riches while villains lurk in the shadows ready to cheat, lie and steal the precious nuggets in this first ever Millibo Melodrama – rich singing, an outrageous plot and a mother-load of laughs.

April 9-11 The TRAVELER

Hailed by critics as the most accomplished and renowned mime of his generation, Bill Bowers returns to his western theatrical home for the premiere of his new mime production ‘The Traveler” a silent and whimsical tale of one man’s journey to find a new home.

April 16-26  BORDERLINES

Every nook and cranny of the Millibo is transformed in this immersive staging of performance art, music, dance, poetry and monologue inspired by the concept of Borders and what that means in our personal and political landscape.

Proposals accepted until December 15, 2020
